Stools

With the Klushuis project concluded it's time to catch up by sharing some results.

For some simple seating, I combined some multiply flooring with a memory of the AA Stool designed by Torafu architects. This stool is much less sophisticated in form and materialisation. But the dimensions were carefully chosen to make the most of the available material and provide a comfortable seat.

What I hadn't anticipated was how different the space around a table is when there are no backrests surrounding it. It makes the dinner table much less formal and the dining area much less delineated. It shouldn't be surprising, but I never gave it much thought until confronted by it.
